Ronald E. Eggebrecht

Ronald E. Eggebrecht 66, Wausau and Tomahawk, died Saturday May 8, 2004 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. He was born September 27, 1937 in Wausau, son of the late Ervin Eggebrecht and Florence Bremer. On January 9, 1960 he married Mary Lou Kroll at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wausau. He married her again on January 9, 2004 after a 13 year separation. She survives. Ron was a veteran of the US Air Force and was retired from the Weyerhauser Paper Mill, Rothschild. He was a member and past Exalted Ruler of the Wausau Elks Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and mostly spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his wife, Mary , he is survived by three daughters, Debra (Charles) Karlen, Greenville, Rhonda Roth, Weston, Renee (Wayne) Cottrell, Mosinee, eight grandchildren, Steven, Bradley, Cameron, Sabrina, Scott, Rachel, Garrett and Cale, five sisters, Joyce (Walter) Habeck, Schofield, Audrey Roberts, Texas, Janet Krueger, Wausau, Karen (Richard) Lodholz, Wausau and Ellen (John) Bongert, Waukesha, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Salzman and Lois Lamb. Funeral services and an Elks Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m. Weds. May 12, 2004 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call on Weds. From 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
