Ronald A. Bergman
69, Tripoli formerly of Athens, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Marshfield.
He was born April 23, 1936 in the town of Rietbrock, son of the late Arthur and Adeline (Schultz) Bergman. On May 25, 1957, he married Jacqueline Giese in Athens. She survives.
Ronald worked in Milwaukee for 35 years until retiring and moving to Tripoli. He enjoyed working for the Willows Region Sportsman Club. Besides hunting, fishing and woodworking, he was an avid Brewers, Badger and Packer fan. Ronald will be deeply missed by his family, friends and his dog, Beeper.
Besides his wife, Jacqueline, Tripoli, survivors include one daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Klein, Seattle and one son, Michael Bergman, Holmen; three grandchildren, David and Anna Klein and Felicia Bergman; one step granddaughter, Teresa Klein; one sister, Mary Jane (Tom) Proft, Germantown.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday September 30, 2005 at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, Minocqua. Rev. Kenneth Albers will officiate. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Athens Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church.
