Ron J. Reetz

Ron J. Reetz 67, 2067 James St., Mosinee, died Friday, February 7, 2003 at his home under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services of Marshfield. Ron was born May 14, 1935 in Wausau. On December 9, 1955, he married Marie Teuchert. She survives. Ron was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Peplin Post #8280, Mosinee. Ron was self-employed until the time of his retirement. He enjoyed going to the casinos, reading, fishing but what brought him great joy was spending time with his friend and family. Besides his wife, Marie, Mosinee includes two daughters, Renee (Jon) Jakubowski, Eau Claire and Linda (Mike) Carpenter, Marquette, Michigan; twin sons, Wally (Cindy) Reetz, Mosinee and Tom (Andrea) Reetz, Spanaway, Washington; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Nicole Reetz, Mosinee, Jessica Reetz, Spanaway, Washington and Adam Jakubowski, Eau Claire; two sisters, Alice Mueller, Wausau and Carol Schubring, Eau Claire. Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Rev. Robert Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home.
