Roland “Rollie” L. Seidel 92, Weston, formerly of Milwaukee, died Monday September 3, 2018 at Pride TLC in Weston. Roland was born to the late Ryan and Helena (Hartwig) Seidel in the Tomahawk, WI area.
When World War II broke out, the family moved to Manitowoc, Wisconsin where Roland attended Lincoln High School. After the war, Roland moved to the Milwaukee area and attended college. In the late 1940s, he met and married Evelyn Wilda on June 5, 1948. The couple were later divorced. Together they had two sons. Roland worked for Bark River Equipment and Culverts from 1961 until retiring as General Manager in 1992.
In the early 1970s, Roland met a widow, Shirley Spencer Klug. They were married on December 27, 1975. They were able to live a “good life” of summers in Wisconsin and winters in Florida until 2015, when Roland had congestive heart failure. They then moved into the Pride TLC in Weston, where Shirley still resides.
