Roger E. Weege, 66, Town of Texas, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at his home. He was born June 14, 1942 in Merrill, son of the late Edward and Florence (Reinke) Weege. On April 13, 1991, Roger married Yvonne (Raduechel) Pfaff in Wausau. Roger worked for Wisconsin Public Service, retiring after 31 years of service. He served in the National Guard and Army reserve. Gardening, polka music, restoring and collecting John Deere tractors and traveling to Hawaii were a few of his joys. He was a member of the American Legion Montgomery Plant Post 10 and enjoyed volunteering at Camp Luther. Survivors include, wife, Yvonne (Raduechel, Pfaff) Weege, two step-children, Kelli (Jim) Tuttle and Todd Pfaff, five step-grandchildren, Nathan, Julia and Talia Tuttle, Adam and Owen Pfaff, brother, Don (Linda) Weege, niece, Tara (Willy) Schelbert and their children, Elijah and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 6, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. William Metter of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Town of Wausau, will officiate. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the service Monday at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Town of Wausau or Camp Luther. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
