Roger R. Pospychala

Roger R. Pospychala, 88, of Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at home under the care of Interim Hospice.

He was born on May 7, 1935 in Wausau to the late Joe and Irene (Benz) Pospychala.  Roger married the former Joan Smith at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau, on June 28, 1958.  He worked for over 40 years at Wausau Paper and held multiple positions during his time there.  He loved woodworking and was a multiple award winner at the Wisconsin Valley Fair.  Roger also enjoyed fishing and spending time tending to his gardens, especially his flowers.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; children, Kurt (Donna) Pospychala and Scott (Kelly) Pospychala; grandchildren, Amanda Pospychala, Megan (Tyler) Alexander, Andrew Pospychala, and Abbie (Paul) Van Grinsven; great-grandchild, Theodore; sister, Carol Kaczke; and sister-in-law, Barbara Barthels.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Irene; and sister, Diane Beese.
