Rodell Long

Rodell Long 86, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wausau Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II and worked as a carpenter in the residential construction business. Survivors include his daughter, Marilyn Griffin, Wausau; son, Russell (Patricia) Long, Ames, Iowa; five grandchildren, one great-grandson, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Wausau Bible Church, 1300 Grand Ave, Wausau. Rev. Ed Kersten will officiate. Friends may call Saturday from 1p.m. until the time of services at the church. Burial will be2p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in Powhatan Cemetery, Iowa.
