Rocky R. Dozier

Rocky R. Dozier, died on January 15, 2026, in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Rocky was a loving husband, step-father, papa, and friend to all those who knew him and all who had only met him a handful of times. He will be truly missed by everyone and will be thought of for the rest of the lives of all those around him.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Minnesota where he met the love of his life, Cynthia. He was a man who led a simple life but always cherished the moments he had with those around him and stuck by those who he felt the closet to. Eventually he moved to Wisconsin with his newly formed family and continued the journey we all travel, through all the ups and downs that life threw at him he continued to smile through it all. Rocky remained the foundation of the family. Even though he is gone, his spirit lives on forever in the family he left behind and the values he instilled upon those around him.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Dozier; step-daughter, Nicole Nelson (Brett Waldinger); grandson, Noah (Alexis) Nelson; granddaughter Savannah Nelson (Dee Pierce); great-grandchildren, Wynter Nelson, Saylor Nelson, and Elyza Nelson; and other relatives.
