Robert E. Vogt 83, Wausau, died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. He was born September 23, 1921 in Milwaukee. On July 14, 1942, he married Viola Lechner in Houston, Tex. She survives. Robert served as Master Sergeant for the United States Airforce, during World War II and the Korean War. Survivors include, his wife, Viola, Wausau; seven children, Barbara Vogt, Wausau, Patricia (William) Casey, Spring Hill, Fla., Thomas (Paula) Vogt, Wausau, Margaret (Tim) Opper, Wausau, Daniel (Leann) Vogt, Bend, Ore., Rebecca (Oriol) Perez, Tampa, Fla., and Laurie (Steve) Pirtle, Cambridge, Wis.; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one brother, Jerome (Pat) Vogt, Fairbault, Minn. The funeral mass will be celebrated 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Friends may call Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
