Robert F. Seliger

Robert "Bob" F. Seliger 46, Marathon, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born December 3, 1966 in Marathon, son of the late Melvin "Curly" and LouAnne (Vetter) Seliger. On June 28, 1997, he married Jaclyn Norton in Marathon. She survives. Bob was currently employed at Kersten Lumber in Birnamwood. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dog "Fern". Survivors include, his wife, Jaci Seliger, Marathon; two step-children, Jake Sonnentag, Marathon and Jenna Sonnentag, Stevens Point; nine siblings, Jim (Jeanne) Seliger, Park Falls, Brian (Jennifer) Seliger, Madison, Jan (Frank Gwidt) Radke, Wautoma, Karen (Roger) Weisenberger, Marathon, Karol (Paul) Wolk, Merrill, Tony (Carla) Seliger, Marathon, Linda (Scott) Braunel, Wausau, Laura (Randy) Viegut, Edgar and Mary (John) Newmier, Stratford; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Rita Norton, Wausau; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Seliger. The memorial mass will be celebrated at Noon on Monday, April 15, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
