Robert "Bob" Schwinn

Robert "Bob" D. Schwinn, 78, Wausau, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born March 18, 1940 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Clarence and Winnifred (Verbeck) Schwinn. On August 17, 1974, he married Marliese "Mollie" Klade in Wausau. She survives. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bob worked as a Computer Systems Analyst for Wausau Insurance Company, where he took an early retirement. He then went on to work for Sentry Insurance until his retirement, following many years of dedicated service. Among his favorite pastimes, he loved fishing and bird hunting. Survivors include, his loving wife of 43 years, Mollie Schwinn, Wausau; four children, Christopher (Deanna) Campbell, Marshall, Craig (Kelli) Campbell, Green Bay, Julie (fiancAC., Bruce Westberg) Schwinn, Wausau and Jeanna (friend, Mark Foley) Schwinn, Delafield; eleven grandchildren, Cole, Alexander, Ian, Autumn, Aden, Tanner, Maggie, Kaylee, Elle, Grant and Ryan; one brother, Clarence (Regina) Schwinn, Tinley Park, IL; and many other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Noah Campbell. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, followed by military honors conducted by the American Legion Montgomery Plant Dudley Post No. 10, Wausau.
