Robert F. Netzer
75, Punta Gorda, Florida, died Sunday, November 3, 2002 in Florida.
Robert was born July 19, 1927 in Elgin, Illinois, son of the late Robert and Mary (Klinger) Netzer. He retired in Punta Gorda after moving from Coloma, Wisconsin, where he and his first wife, Betty, owned and operated Coloma Meat Products and RNCO Body Company.
Bob was a pilot for over 50 years and served in the US Navy Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the EAA, AOPA, Ultra-light Association, Veteran's Motor Car Club of America and the Elk's Club.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Broerman) Netzer, Punta Gorda, Florida; three daughters, Chriss (Ed) Lawrence, Gloucester, Virginia, Linda Mueller, Ripon, Wisconsin and Karen Netzer, Wausau, Wisconsin; three sons, David (Debra) Netzer, Nekoosa, Wisconsin, Ron (Kathy) Netzer, Martinez, Georgia and Dick (Joan) Netzer, Olympia, Washington; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Judy Netzer, Marshfield, Wisconsin; three brothers, Frank Netzer, Holcombe, Wisconsin, Larry Netzer, Medford, Wisconsin and Tom Netzer, Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2002 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Entombment will be in Holy Angels Mausoleum, St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church.
