Robert A. Koehler

Robert Alan Koehler, 53, passed from this life on December 23, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in the Palliative Care Unit. Robert was born in Wausau June 20th, 1955 to Robert H. and Delorus (Short) Koehler. A graduate from Wausau East High School, Robert was the owner and operator of Koehler Vending Service of Wausau. He was an avid golfer and handball enthusiast. Through the years, he was a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He had been recovering 25 years in NA. He was beloved by many and kept several lifelong friends. Robert is survived by his daughter Shawna (Tim) Martin, Bogota, TX, her mother, Becky Lucht, Navarre, Fla., his father and stepmother, Robert H. Koehler and Rose Krohn-Koehler, Wausau, sister Patricia (Donald) Schuman and nephew Theodore Schuman, Morgantown, WV. He is further survived by an Aunt, Billie Teskoski, cousin, John Teskoski, Wausau and in-laws, Jimmy and Connie Hughes, Merrill.. Robert was preceded in death by his mother Delorus A. Koehler, brother, Richie Koehler, his matenal grandparents, Fay and Pearl Short, and his paternal grandparents, Herman (Bill) and Alva Koehler. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Sunday December 28, 2008 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturdayfrom 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.and again on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
