Robert Allen Fritz

Robert A. Fritz, 69, Lublin, WI died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 surrounded by his family at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born January 1, 1950 in Greenville, Ohio, son of the late Virgil and Malinda (Henninger) Fritz.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam.  He retired from the former Tower Automotive, Inc. in Milwaukee.  Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, throwing horseshoes and in the past decade, he restored old tractors.

Survivors include, two sons, Grady (Lisa) Fritz, Johnson Creek and Destry Fritz, Delavan; his ex-wife, Elaine Fritz, Fort Atkinson; four grandchildren, Brittney, Brooklyn, Gavin and Gage; one brother, Eugene (Marilyn) Fritz, New Madison, Ohio; and his fiancée, Amy Dircks, Lublin.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley, Linda and Pat.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
