Robert L. Clark

Robert L. Clark, 70, Wausau, died Wednesday, October 24, 2001 peacefully at home under the care of his wife and family. Bob was born October 14, 1931 in Arbor Vitae, son of the late Lowell and Mayme (Stearns) Clark. On February 14, 1988, he married Christine Woyak in Stevens Point. She survives. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Robert retired from Grebe's Ace Hardware and Appliance. He helped people with home and appliance repairs and became known as 'the man who fixes things'. He enjoyed music, woodworking, and loved to travel. He liked to go for walks in the woods and loved nature. Survivors besides his wife, Christine, include his children; Bruce Clark, Arbor Vitae, Jeff Clark Federal Way, WA, Bob (Sheri) Clark, Jr., Munith, MI, Lisa (Bob) Zitek, Oshkosh, Dave Oldenburg, Jr., Wausau; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Don Clark, Woodruff, George (Ione) Clark, Arizona; and his former wife Dolores Clark, Woodruff. Besides his parents and nine siblings,he was preceded in death by a son Steve Clark. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday October 29, 2001 at Living Water Christian Fellowship, Wausau. Dr. Gerald Morris will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and Monday from 9:00am until time of services at the church.
