Robert Bordeau

Robert "Bob" J. Bordeau 75, Wausau, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Tomah VA Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1935 in White Lake, son of the late Leo and Veronica (Lehman) Bordeau. On September 7, 1957 he married Linda Baker in Washington D.C. She survives. Bob served his country in the United States Air Force as a mechanic. He had several jobs throughout the years including maintaining the vehicles at the Waukesha Sheriff's Department, counselor for the Norris Foundation for Boys and car salesman at Don Jacobs Buick in Waukesha. Some of his hobbies included hunting, watching NASCAR races and anything to do with planes and cars. He is survived by his wife, Linda, Wausau; children, Kirk Bordeau, Wausau, Traci (Gary) Nowicki, Colorado, Michele Bordeau, Wausau, Dana Bordeau, Colorado, Joelle (David) Crane, North Carolina and Nikki Bordeau, Wausau; grandchildren, Angie Bordeau, Danielle Pocock, Miranda (Landon) Reich, Alicia Garduno, Joshua Berger, Michael Berger, Bethany (Luis) Heredia, Jessica Swenson, Christopher Swenson, Jennifer (David) , Megan Crane, Adam Crane and Taylor Lahr, 15 great-grandchildren, one sister, Sally Steffens; one brother, Roy Bordeau. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau.
