Ricky A. Lecher

Ricky "Bugeyes" Lecher, 51, Wausau died Monday, March 4, 2013 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born December 7, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids, son of James and Sharon (Coon) Lecher, Wausau. On July 29, 1989 he married Susan Manowski at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. She survives. For more than 25 years Ricky worked at Overhear Door Company in Wausau and later went to work at Streich Equipment. Some of his favorite pastimes included shooting pool, playing hockey, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers and also NASCAR races. Survivors include his wife, Susan Lecher, his parents, James (Sharon) Lecher and his mother-in-law, Nancy Manowski all of Wausau, two sons, Tom (Jessica) Lecher, Edgar and Brad (Alicia) Lecher, Wausau, eight grandchildren, Madyson, Myla, Tyler, Haylee, Kameron, Kaylana, Asher and Amaya. Ricky is further survived by his siblings, twin brother, Nick (Lynn) Lecher, St. Germain, Ken Lecher and Vickie (Terry) Kasten, both of Wausau, two brother-in-laws, Rick (Jackie) Manowski, Oklahoma, Neal (Cecelia) Manowski, Medford and a sister-in-law, Debra Manowski, Wausau as well as many nieces, nephews and his special friend, "Chippy". Ricky was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Lecher, his father-in-law, Michael Manowski and his brother-in-law, Eugene Manowski. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. Joel Brandt will officiate.
