Rick A. Hart

Rick "Baggy" A. Hart, 48, Athens, died Monday, August 4, 2014. He was born July 26, 1966 in Medford, the son of Dennis and Beverly (Hopperdietzel) Hart of Athens. On June 29, 1990, he married Linda Schalow in Wausau. She survives. Rick grew up in the Athens area and was currently employed with Albrecht Family Farms LTD in Athens, where he was a ginseng farmer, drove truck and did custom field work for over 17 years. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed bow hunting and rifle hunting, collecting maple syrup and watching community sporting events. Survivors include his wife, Linda, Athens; two sons, Kody and Evan, Athens; his parents; two brothers, Ronnie and Jason, Athens; two brothers-in-law, Jay Schalow, Seattle, WA and Fred (Ranae) Schalow, Mukwonago; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
