Richard Witz

Richard J. Witz, 24, Wausau, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary's Campus, Rochester, Minn. He was born October 19, 1993 in Wausau, son of Gilbert Witz and Rabecka Saal. On June 29, 2017, he married Alexandria Staubs in Wausau. Richard served his country in the United States Marines. Survivors include his wife, Alexandria; son, Jamyson; step-son, Braeden; father, Gilbert Witz; mother, Rabecka Saal; brothers, Decota Witz and Corporal Patrick Witz of the Marines. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Zach Holdorf will officiate. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery, Mosinee. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
