Richard M. Twait

Richard "Dick" M. Twait 71, Wausau, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau. He was born August 1, 1934 in St. Paul, Minn., son of the late Manley and Marie (Winchell) Twait. On June 16, 1956, he married Patricia Eddy in St. Paul, Minn. She preceded him in death on April 13, 2005. For over 35 years, Dick was a dedicated employee of State Farm Insurance until his retirement. He was a member of the Lions Club in Wausau and coached little and senior league baseball teams in Wausau for many years. Among his many interests, he enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Kris (Rob) Rybarczyk, Wausau; one son, Douglas (Denise) Twait, Roseville, Minn.; two grandchildren, Jake and Josie Rybarczyk; one brother, Jim (Marge) Twait, Alexandria, Minn.; and one sister-in-law, Marlene (Robert) Stiff, Romeoville, Ill. Memorial services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2005 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. John Meachen will officiate. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the Sixth Street Funeral Home.
