Richard J. Tokarczyk 62, Wausau died Monday, June 1, 2009 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born November 20, 1946 in Laona, son of the late Jacob and Berniece (Sutrick) Tokarczyk. On July 10, 1965 he married Sharon Lemanski in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on January 25, 2001. Prior to his retirement Richard worked in various types of industries in Wausau and Brainerd, Minnesota. He was a proud member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Pere Rene Menard General Assembly and the Third Degree, George Schreier Council #1069, both of Wausau. Survivors include his children, Randy Tokarczyk, St. Paul Park, Minnesota and Brian (Ruth) Tokarczyk, Baxter, Minnesota, eight grandchildren, Jason, Danielle, Scott, Jesse, Justin, Joshua, Michael and Christie, one great granddaughter, Mary Grace Shepherd and one brother, Charles (Ellyn) Tokarczyk, Mukwonago. The funeral mass will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Oratory, Wausau. The Rev. Henry Fragelli will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from Noon until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
