Richard J. Piaszak

Richard J. Piaszak, 76, Wausau, died Thursday January 28, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield. He was born February 6, 1939 in Wausau, son of the late Casimier and Adeline (Hench) Piaszak. On December 11, 1962 he married Grace Gotski in Basel, Switzerland. She survives. Richard served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a millwright at Graphic Packaging for 37 years. Some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Grace Piaszak, Wausau; two sons, Matthew (Carah), San Antonio, Texas and Michael Piaszak, Weston; grandchildren, Josephine and Teddy Piaszak, San Antonio, Texas and Lydia Piaszak, Weston; twin sister, Barbara (Harold) Jablonski, Wausau and sister, Carol (Dale) Wiesman, Wausau. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon, Monday February 1, 2015 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Dan Thelen will preside. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
