Richard A. Kluetz, 72, Wausau died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born February 18, 1943 in Wausau, son of the late Alfred and Dorothy (Myska) Kluetz. On July 18, 1964 he married Joan Nelson at Holy Name Catholic Church, Wausau. She preceded him in death on November 7, 2007.
In his younger years Richard worked at the 7 Up Bottling Company as a bottler and then went on to be a lifelong truck driver in the Wausau area until his retirement. Richard loved spending time on Long Lake in the Harrison Hills area.
Survivors include his children, Brenda (Cliff) Damrow, Wausau, Alan (Carrie) Kluetz, Lemon Grove, California and Michael (Jenny) Kluetz, Weston, two grandchildren, Danica Smith and Dylan Damrow, two brothers, Thomas (Barb) Kluetz, Mosinee and Danny (Kim) Kluetz, Rib Mountain and his grand dog, Bubba.
Besides his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Krahn.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
