Richard Ernest Hoeft

Richard E. Hoeft 57, 1122 Grand Avenue, Rothschild, died Sunday July 21, 2002 at North Central Health Care Facilities, Wausau. He was born June 1, 1945 in Antigo, son of the late Alwin 'Bill' and Eleanore (Hackbarth) Hoeft. On June 3, 1963 he graduated from Antigo Senior High School. He had been employed at Riverside Paper Company, Appleton and more recently had been a drivers license examiner with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation until 1970. Survivors include a daughter, Jewel Peterson, a granddaughter, two sisters, Dorothy (Don) Zima, Eldorado,Wisconsin and Elaine (Edward) Simon, Merrill, a sister-in-law, Pat (Harold) Hoeft and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 23, 2002 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Tigerton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Deerbrook or the Mental Health Research Association.
