Richard F. Havlovick
82, Wausau, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau.
He was born April 7, 1925 in Milwaukee, son of the late Joseph and Otillia (Richmering) Havlovick. On September 10, 1949, he married Rose Davis at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. She survives.
Richard co-founded the former Land O' Lakes Candy Company, Wausau, in which he operated for ten years and was the founder of the Land O' Lakes Vending Company, Wausau, in which he owned and operated for 30 years. Among his many interests, he enjoyed collecting horses and miniature cars.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Havlovick, Wausau; five children, Barbara (Gary) Klug, Mosinee, Kenneth (Susan) Havlovick, Whitewater, Ronald Havlovick, Dallas, Tex., Steven (Robin) Havlovick, Wausau and Dale (fiancAC.e Caren) Havlovick, Minneapolis, Minn.; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Annabelle (Arthur) Guralski, Wausau and Isabelle (Larry) Dreikosen, Marshfield; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Havlovick.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2007 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
