Richard B. Glodowski
April 10, 1936 — May 28, 2003
Richard "Dicky" Glodowski, 67, 1819 Foothill Avenue, Schofield, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born April 10, 1936 in New Hope, son of the late Phillip and Emily (Kosobucki) Glodowski. On October 29, 1960 he married Elaine Kaminski in Rosholt. She survives.
Richard served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Antietan Aircraft Carrier. For the last 37 years he was a building contractor in the Wausau area. Dicky enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors besides his wife Elaine include one son, Carey (Doreen) Glodowski and their children Danielle, Keaton and Kiara Glodowski, Weston, one daughter Kristy (Jason) Davis, Ringle, four brothers and three sisters.
Besides his parents Richard was preceded in death by one granddaughter Demiah Glodowski and one brother Robert Glodowski.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
Richard died at his home under the care of his angel on earth, his daughter Kristy who is an RN. Her mom and brother are eternally grateful for the tender loving care she gave him.
