Richard J. Farganus

Richard J. Farganus 76, Kronenwetter, died Friday, October 31, 2008 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. He was born September 17, 1932 in Chicago, son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Janusz) Farganus. On October 8, 1955 he married Dolores Neverouski in Chicago. She survives. Prior to his retirement Richard worked at Wausau Tile and Cedar Craft. Some of his favorite pastimes included gardening, fishing, cheering on the Cubs and Bears and enjoying the company of his dog, Buddy. Survivors include his wife, Dolores Farganus, Kronenwetter, his daughter, Donna (Skip) Poli, Rockford, one brother, Robert Farganus, Wausau and one brother-in-law, Eugene (Dolores) Neverouski, Woodridge, Illinois. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Farganus. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2008 at The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Richard's name.
