Richard L. Borski, 73, Wausau, died April 14, 2017.
Dick was born December 21, 1943 in Wausau, son of the late Anthony and Adeline (Krejci) Borski.
He served in the United States Marines in Vietnam. In 2016 he had the wonderful opportunity to go on the Honor Flight, to him it was the trip of a life time. Dick's career was spent working for G.T.E. He was a life-long member of St. Michael Catholic Church and his faith was so very important to him.
Dick loved hunting with his cousins, fishing with his son and granddaughter. He enjoyed playing cribbage and was in many cribbage tournaments. Dick also loved the game of golf. Dick had a heart of gold, most of the time laughing, but also very soft hearted. He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him.
Survivors include his son, Tom Borski, Wausau; granddaughter, Tirsa Borski; sister, Arlene (Roger) Kluever, Wausau; special friend, Arlene Mayer, Kronenwetter; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald, sister, Joyce, brother-in-law, Andy and his nephew, Jeff.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
