Richard C. Bergs

Richard "Dick" C. Bergs 66, Mosinee, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Dick was born March 2, 1944 in Wausau the son of the late Elmer and Theresa (Golla) Bergs. Following his military service, he was an owner/operator of an over the road trucking business. In his spare time Dick enjoyed fishing and video poker. Survivors include one brother John (Margo) Bergs, Rib Falls; one sister-in-law Tosca Bergs, North Augusta, SC; one brother-in-law Allen (Jeannette Knauf-Masanz) Masanz, Marathon; one niece Mara (Larry) Bushee, North Augusta, SC; three nephews: Mark (Julie) Bergs, Wausau; Neil (Hollie) Masanz and their children Valarie and Wyatt, Mosinee and Randy Masanz, Marathon. Dick is further survived by other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ronald Bergs and one sister Judy Masanz. A Memorial Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Peterson/ Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon. Private burial with his family will take place at a later date.
