Regina Emma Munson

Regina Emma Munson, 84, 6001 Alderson Street Schofield, formerly of Oak Brook, Illinois died Monday, July 12, 2004 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield. She was born July 28, 1919 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Dury) Mohr. On December 25, 1943 she married Robert Munson Sr. in Green Bay while he was on leave from military service. He preceded her in death. Regina attended Green Bay East High School and graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth with a degree in Sociology. She and her husband Robert lived in Chicago after the war until her recent hospitalization in Wisconsin. Survivors include one son, Robert L. (Barbara) Munson, Mosinee; three grandchildren, Brett Robert, Christine Regina and Kenneth Edward Munson; one brother Raymond Mohr; one brother-in-law John F. Munson and one sister-in-law Doris Mohr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Munson Sr., a son, John Franklin Munson III and a daughter Mary Munson. Private memorial services will be held. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery, Green Bay. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
