Regina T. Heisler

Regina T. Heisler 92, 227 North 7th Avenue, Wausau died Friday, May 16, 2008 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born June 5, 1915 in Rosholt, daughter of the late John and Mary (Klemans) Golomski. On February 9, 1935 she married William Heisler at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1992. Regina was a homemaker and also worked at the Wausau Country Club and the Wausau Club. Some of her favorite pastimes included cooking, baking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Gerald (Mary Ann) Heisler, Richard (Gladys) Heisler and Eugene (Dianne) Heisler, all of Hatley and Delores (August) Stanke, Wausau, 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, one sister, Esther Wunsch, Wausau and two brothers, Frank (Eleanore) Golomski, Green Bay and Chester Golomski, Wausau along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Nicki Heisler, one son, Robert Heisler and one daughter, Irene Sliwicki. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
