Raymond W. Neupert
90, Kronenwetter, died Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield.
He was born June 11, 1917 in Weston, son of the late William and Flora (Manecke) Neupert. In January of 1985 he married Jewel Kile. She survives.
Raymond served his country in the United States Army during World War II and worked more than 30 years as a drafting engineer for U.S. Steel. He was a Model A enthusiast and owner. As a young man his mother bought him a 31 Model A Sports Roadster.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel, Kronenwetter; stepsons, Clifford (Thelma) Goad, Lafayette, Tenn., Keith Allen (Lori) Goad, Marine City, Mich., Kevin Lee (Candy) Goad, Lake Station, Ind., Robert (Diana) Goad, Leroy, Ind., Scott (Michelle) Maybaum, Carlsbad, Calif. and Rae Ellen (Rick) Anderson, Corona, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; nephews, Patrick (Wendy) Neupert, Wausau and Robert (Wendi) Neupert, Rothschild; great nephew, Raymond Neupert, Rothschild and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a stepson, Andrew, wife, Fern, wife, Clara, brothers, Leonard and Alvin.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Wausau Bible Church, 1300 Grand Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Travis Huseby will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
