Raymond G. Goytowski, 88, Wausau, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born October 20, 1927 in Marathon County, son of the late Frank and Helen (Tryba) Goytowski. On October 17, 1953, he married Mary Ann Kittell in Wausau. She preceded him in death on April 22, 1992.
Raymond was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. For many years, he worked for the former James River Corp. in Wausau, until his retirement. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include, four children, Alan Goytowski, Eagle, Wis., Duane Goytowski, Fredericksburg, Va., Dona (Mark Simmons) Parkes, Kula, Hawaii and Annie Shelby, Boulder Junction, Wis.; four grandchildren, Rachel Goytowski and Sarah, Katelyn and Charles Finley; three siblings, Mary Sinski, Milwaukee, Ernest (Mary) Goytowski, West Allis, Wis. and Janet Patnode, Harshaw, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, Mary Ann, he was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Family and friends are invited to gather after 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Raymond's home, 518 Chicago Avenue, Wausau, WI 54403.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be donated to the American Cancer Society.
