Raymond Czerwinski

Raymond M. Czerwinski, 73, Wausau died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born August 30, 1941 in Wausau, son of the late Adam and Helen (Rycerz) Czerwinski. On September 14, 1963 he married Karon Stadler at Holy Name Catholic Church, Wausau. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2014. For more than 20 years Ray worked at Wausau Homes. After Wausau Homes he became the custodian at Rib Mountain Elementary School until his health led to his retirement. There Ray coached basketball and wrestling. Ray was a longtime dishwasher for funeral dinners at Holy Name Catholic Church. He was truly a family man, enjoying every minute possible with his wife, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and siblings and will be fondly remembered for always being there if anyone needed help. Ray always looked forward to the family vacations up north with his family. Survivors include his son, Craig (Jennifer) Czerwinski, Weston, four grandchildren, Austin, Parker, Carly and Aiden, one sister, Arlene Czerwinski, Thorp and one brother, Donald (Arlene) Czerwinski, Wausau. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The Rev. Thomas Huff will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. all at the church.
