Ralph E. Heil

Ralph E. Heil, 69, Wausau passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at his home.

He was born on December 17, 1956 in Marshfield, son of the late LeRoy and Agnes (Writz) Heil.

Ralph worked for Salzman Roofing and Siding for 26 years, was self-employed for 10 years and for 13 years he worked at Fleet Farm in Wausau, retiring in April 2023.

Ralph is survived by three sons, Trevett, Travis, Matthew, 10 grandchildren, his siblings, Rose Ann (Gene) Jacob, Mosinee, Marie Kiczula, Ill., Janet (Tomas) Sabaduquia, Ill. and Margaret (Keith) Ziegel, Marathon, a sister-in-law, Gladys Heil and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his life partner, Julie Alft and a brother, Jospeh.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at which a meal will be served all at the Wausau Labor Temple, 318 South Third Avenue, Wausau, WI, 54401. Private family inurnment will take place at Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
