Rae E. Gruenwald

Rae E. Gruenwald, 79, Schofield, died Friday November 18, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Schofield. She was born December 27, 1936, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Ray and Rose (Hayeland) Schommer. On September 25, 1954, she married James Gruenwald in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death November 17, 2012. Rae was employed as an EKG Technician and operated Rae's School of Dance prior to her retirement. Among her favorite things to do were spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, taking an occasional trip to the casino and her pets. Survivors include three children, Mark (Vicky) Gruenwald, Reeseville, Julie Gruenwald, Schofield, David Gruenwald, Fox River Valley, four grandchildren, Emily & Paul Gruenwald, Hallie Gruenwald and Kelly (Kyle) Kalmerton, two sisters, Mary Lynne (Tom) Hoffer, Glendale and Kay (Bob) Mueller, Florida. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael and two brothers, John and Chuck Schommer. At Rae's request, there will be no funeral services.
