Phyllis Marie Henneman

Phyllis Marie Henneman, age 95, died Friday, February 13, 2026 at Stone Crest, Wausau. She was born on August 2, 1930 in Wausau, daughter of the late Paul and Katherine (Neuman) Tessmer. On June 30, 1951 she married Roger Henneman. He preceded her in death in 1987. Phyllis was a lifelong Hamburg resident.

Survivors include two sons, Gary (Gloria) Henneman and Wayne (Suzy) Henneman; five grandchildren, Scott (Blair) Henneman, Laura (Brandt) Hunter, Zach Barker, Ryan Henneman and Nick Henneman and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Liam Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Harold Tessmer and Dale Tessmer.

A Memorial Service will be held at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 312 Caroline Street, Athens, on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in the Athens Village cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home in Athens.
