Phyllis M. Boxrucker

Phyllis M. Boxrucker, 83, Athens died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She was born April 3, 1930 in Athens, daughter of the late Orville and Hattie (Hart) Mason. On May 15, 1954 she married George Boxrucker in Minnesota. He survives. Phyllis and her husband George farmed in the town of Bern for many years. She enjoyed fishing, knitting and bird watching. Phyllis truly found peace with life living on the farm. Survivors include her husband George Boxrucker, Athens her daughter, Susan Boxrucker, Madison, one grandson, Christopher Boxrucker, Madison, two sisters, Shirley (Roger) Metry, Verona and Carol Graske, Milwaukee and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ernie, Robert, Ginny and Marlene. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens.
