Phillip G. Day

Phillip G. Day 23, Athens, died Saturday, July 13, 2002 as a result of a car accident. Phil was born September 10, 1978 in Racine, son of Gary and Julie (Radtke) Day, Athens. After graduation from Athens High School in 1997, he worked in Racine for 4 years, then moved to Athens and was employed as an insulation installer. Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing and motor cross racing. Survivors besides his parents, include two sisters, Michele (Shawn) Brunke and Penny (Adam) Ellenbecker all of Athens; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Day, maternal grandmother, Becky Radtke, maternal great grandmother, Grace Howard and maternal great grandmother, Adeline Radtke all of Racine; two nieces; two nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2002 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens. Rev. Donn Radde will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home.
