Peter Prondzinski
87, formerly of the town of Cassel, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
He was born June 9, 1920 in Poniatowski, son of the late Paul and Rose (Stencil) Prondzinski.
Peter farmed in the town of Cassel for many years and raised and trained horses. He had a talent for training horses to work as a team when pulling a buggy or wagon. Peter also worked at Kent Woodworking in Milwaukee and retired as a milk hauler from the Cassel Garden Cheese Factory.
Peter was a wonderful brother and uncle. He was always very friendly and helpful, always waving and saying Hello. He loved being with people and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann (Edwin) Wilichowski, Marathon and many nieces and nephews.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Anna (Prondzinski) Wilichowski, Sophie (Prondzinski) Zemski, three step brothers, Ray, Paul and Clarence Sturgul and a step sister Dorothy (Sturgul) Dahm.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. The Rev. Barnabas Kyea will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
