Peter T. Literski

Peter T. Literski, 84, Athens, died Friday December 30, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born May 16, 1932, in Athens, son of the late Anthony and Annette (Welbes) Literski. On June 7, 1975, he married Patricia Hardt at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. She survives. Peter was a self-employed logger in the Athens area prior to his retirement. Among his favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. Peter was also known for his fine masonry repair work. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Literski, Athens, two children, Regina Literski, Wisconsin Rapids and Carl (Jenny) Literski, Marathon and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday January 3, 2017 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Athens funeral Home.
