Peter D. Krautkramer

Pete Krautkramer, 57, town of Stettin, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Appleton Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1956 in Wausau, the son of Jack and Katherine (Hornung) Krautkramer of Marathon. On September 20, 1975, he married Connie Borchardt in Marathon. She survives. Pete was currently employed with County Materials in Marathon and has been employed with them for 30 years this month. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle with his family, fishing with his daughter, Abby Jo, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons. Pete was the rock of his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Survivors include, his wife, Connie Krautkramer, Wausau; three daughters, Amber (Scott) Behnke, Marathon, Abby Krautkramer, Baldwin, WI and Kelly (Tyler) Bauermeister, Amery, WI; his two grandsons, Dylan and Ethan Behnke; his parents; three siblings, Randy (Sandy) Krautkramer, Rice Lake, Lisa (Doug) Anker, Marathon and Mickey (Kim) Krautkramer, Mosinee; two sisters-in-law, Stacy (Mark) Berger, Eau Claire and June Borchardt, Tomahawk; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otto and Janette Borchardt; and one brother-in-law, Bruce Borchardt. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Stettin. Rev. Philip Bogen will officiate. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
