Peter Hornung Jr

Peter Hornung Jr. 84, 1100 Lakeview Dr., Wausau, died Weds. October 9, 2002 at North Central Health Care Facilities, Wausau. He was born October 8, 1918 in Marathon, son of the late Peter and Mary (Murr) Hornung Sr. Peter was a Veteran of World War II serving in the Navy. Survivors include a brother, Albin (Mary Ann) Hornung, Marathon, six sisters, Helen Kummerow, Weston, Gertrude (Rudolph) Lang, Marshfield, Florence (Raymond) Kage, Wausau, Lorraine (Arnold) Krautkramer, Marathon, Irene (Florian) Sekorski, Edgar, Joan (Mark) Boehm, Wausau and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday October 12, 2002 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, is in charge of arrangements.
