Perry L. Larson
76, Weston, died Thursday September 29, 2011 at Rennes Rehab, Weston under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
He was born June 2, 1935, in Wausau, son of the late Chester and Jane (Breiseth) Larson. On February 28, 1959, he married Marian Brodjeski. She survives.
Perry served his country in the U.S. Navy Construction Force "Seabee's" for 26 years, both active duty and reserve. He retired from the Navy in 1995 as a Master Chief.
Perry was a retired truck driver. In the early 60's, he drove for Moland Brothers Trucking Co., then drove for Foreway Express Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 1991. After his retirement, he did construction work for several years and most recently worked for Zientara Fleet Equipment. Above all, Perry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife, Marian D. Larson, Weston, his children, Rock A. (Cynthia) Larson, Weston, Linda L. (Steve) Strehlow, Wausau, Lisa M. (Keith) Schillinger, Weston, six grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg) Jirschele, Wausau, Paul and Kimberly Strehlow, Wausau, Jeremy and Matthew Schillinger, Weston, Kelsey Larson, Weston, one brother-in-law, Dale D. Howard, Wausau and one sister-in-law, Karen L. Larson, Wausau and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Howard and a brother, Larry H. Larson RPh.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter, where full military rites will be performed. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at St. Therese Church, Rothschild. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Perry's name.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Onitilo and Dr. Lawler, the staff at Marshfield Oncology in Weston, all the staff with St. Clare's Hospital in Weston and St. Joseph's in Marshfield for their outstanding care and devotion they all shared with Perry and his family during his time of illness.
