Peggy M. Baeseman

Peggy M. (McCartha) Baeseman 65, Edgar, died Monday, December 8, 2008 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston, after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born October 16, 1943 in Charleston, South Carolina daughter of the late Jeffery and Catherine (Frye) McCartha. On June 6, 1964 she married Clifford Baeseman Sr. in South Carolina. He survives. Peggy was employed at Marathon Cheese for over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and loved her dogs. Survivors include her husband, Clifford Sr., Edgar; one son, Clifford (Mary) Baeseman Jr., Athens; one daughter, Cheri (Brian) Barnett, Rozellville; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 327 N. 3rd Avenue, Edgar from 2 - 6 p.m. Private services will be held next summer.
