Pearl C. Otto, 94, Weston, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She was born December 12, 1917 in Brokaw, daughter of the late Alvina (Baumann) and John Eiter. John died at a young age and Alvina married George Feck who helped raise Pearl. On May 7, 1938 she married Arthur Otto. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1995. Survivors include her three children, Janice (Larry) Wiederhoeft, John (Karen) Otto, and Karl (Peggy) Otto; five grandchildren, Wendy Wiederhoeft, Ericka (Scott) Schaefer, Kelly (Tony) Trojanowski, Matthew (Marissa) Otto and Lynn (Craig) Maddux; five great granddaughters, Eliza and Nora Trojanowski, Morgan and Brooke Schaefer and Kalia Maddux and one great grandchild soon to be born; many nieces, nephews and an aunt. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Otto and granddaughter, Jamie Wiederhoeft. As a member of First English Lutheran Church she was active in Grace Circle, Friendly Neighbors and enjoyed working at the First English fair stand and helping with quilting. She loved dancing especially to Polkas, playing bingo and considered herself a #1 Packer fan. The funeral service will be 10:45 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at First English Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Erik Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First English Lutheran Church, Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services or Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Kennedy Park for their wonderful care of Pearl and to Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
