Pearl E. Mader

Pearl E. Mader 55, Athens died Friday, November 13, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She was born February 20, 1954, in Marshfield, daughter of Ellen (Hoffman) Stoughton, Athens and the late Donald D. Stoughton. On October 19, 1974, she married Dale Mader at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. He survives. For the past 26 years Pearl and her husband Dale owned and operated a dairy farm. She enjoyed hunting, gardening, cooking and motorcycling. One of her favorite pastimes was horseback riding and she was also a member of the Edgar Horsin Round Club. Survivors include her husband Dale, her mother Ellen Stoughton, Athens, three sons Brian (Michelle) Mader, Schofield, Greg Mader and Kevin Mader, Athens, one granddaughter, Ayla Mader, two sisters, Shirley Rieck, Nelson and Linda Bergmann, Edgar and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald D. Stoughton. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday November 16, 2009 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
