Paul Owen Spiegel

Paul Owen Spiegel, 63, Wausau, died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He was born March 10, 1946 in Stevens Point, son of the late Owen and Helen (Guralski) Spiegel. On November 6, 1965, he married Connie Madden in Wausau. Paul owned and operated Spiegel Home Improvement since 1981. He enjoyed special times with his family and watching his grandchildren grow up. Survivors include, wife, Connie Spiegel, two sons, Tony (Denise Maxson) Spiegel, Steven (Debbie) Spiegel, five grandchildren, Josh and Brittany Spiegel, Tyler and Brooke Spiegel and their mother, Theresa Spiegel and Jared Maxson, two sisters, Sandra (Bill) Prinz, and Dawn (Danny) Beckmann, two brothers, Jay (Marlene) Spiegel and Kent (Chris) Spiegel and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, April 17, 2009 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. A special thank you for the excellent care received at St. Clare's Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital, Dr. Lee and Dr. Ontilio-who referred to Paul as "Mr. chicken man."
