Paul T. Locher, 49, Kronenwetter, died Saturday June 23, 2012, during a day of fishing on the Big Eau Plaine Reservoir.
He was born February 5, 1963, in Cook County, Illinois, son of Yolanda (Zussa) Locher, Weston and the late James Edward Locher.
Paul recently retired as manager of the snowmobile salvage department of Yaeger Auto Salvage. He possessed a passion for all things mechanical. In his youth Paul would disassemble mechanical devices and reassemble them in working order, this carried through to his adult life, where no mechanized item in his house was without some type of change or enhancement for the better.
He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying fishing. He was a proud owner of his "Packer Stock", was a member of the NRA and a Mustang Club where he could showcase his Mustang Bullet and he possessed a fondness for Oldsmobiles and Leinenkugel's as well.
