Patrick J. Obermeyer
31, Ashwaubenon, died Sunday, September 23,2001 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay as a result of injuries he received in an accident.
He was born June 1, 1970, in Wausau, son of John and Dianne (Hoffmann) Obermeyer, Marathon.
He received his schooling at St. Mary School, Marathon and graduated from the Marathon High School in 1988. In 1992, he received his Machine Tool & Die Degree from North Central Technical College, Wausau. Patrick was employed with Applied Machine Systems, Inc., Green Bay as a tool & die maker. He was an active member and activities director of the Harley Owners Group, Wolf River Chapter in Shawano. Patrick loved to ride his motorcycle, enjoyed riding in many charity runs and was an automobile enthusiast.
Besides his parents, John and Dianne (Hoffmann) Obermeyer survivors include his maternal grandmother, Leona Hoffman, Marathon; one sister, Corene (Chris) Roman, Merrill and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. John Parr will preside. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Town of Rib Falls. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Patrick's name.
